キタユウレイクラゲ Lion's mane jellyfish

北極海から北太平洋および北大西洋の冷温帯に広く分布する。日本では三陸から北海道沿岸、オホーツク海沿岸で見られる。
傘径は50cmほどのものが多いが、北極周辺では2m以上になることがある。
Widely distributed in the cold temperate zone from the Arctic Ocean to the North Pacific and North Atlantic. In Japan, it can be found along the coasts of Sanriku, Hokkaido, and the Sea of ​​Okhotsk.
